The Eivissa Town Council in collaboration with PIMEEF will launch the new online shopping center deivissacasa.com. It is a space, a pioneer in the Balearic Islands, that will make it possible to make purchases over the internet in local shops and receive them at home. This is a project co-financed by the European Union with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
From the departments of Economic Promotion and Modernization and Commerce have indicated that this purchasing platform – deivissacasa.com – has more than 30 businesses so far and will offer more than 7,000 products. In addition to food, fashion and footwear stores, there are also hospitality businesses with food delivery services.
For two months, the City Council has been working together with Pimeef and the municipality’s businesses to advise and support them throughout the system that involves starting online sales.
The deivissacasa.com platform will work as the other known platforms so that any buyer can make a selection of products that they will receive directly at home. The Eivissa City Council will bear the cost of shipping the products.
