The Department of Economy and Finance and Business Development of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa has launched the delivery services ‘From home’ web tool (www.desdecasa.conselldeivissa.es). The objective of this tool is twofold, on the one hand, to make known to the entire population those essential product shops that provide home delivery these days in the State of Alarm, and on the other hand to give the opportunity to businesses that do so to promote this service for free.
The insular director of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Irene Torres, explained that “this tool was born after checking the numerous initiatives of shops, restaurants and service companies to maintain their activity during the State of Alarm and always within the framework of the Law ” It is for this reason that “the Consell d’Eivissa wants to offer them a platform where they can let people know that they are still working and, at the same time, provide citizens who may need some services at home with a complete list of stores that remain open” she concluded.
For his part, the acting Minister of Economy and Finance, Salvador Losa, explained that this service is framed “in a clear line that the Consell Insular d’Eivissa has to help our businessmen, and that it began with a decree from the President that exonerated of taxes in all the productive fabric over which the Consell Insular d’Eivissa has competences: the primary sector, transport and crafts. Now we must continue with our commitment to pay our suppliers as soon as possible and to remove all lines of aid and subsidies, because Ibizan society needs us “.
