The Sant Josep de sa Talaia City Council recovers the Artisan and Ecological Market of Sant Josep, an event where every Saturday you can find both products from the Ibizan countryside and traditional manufactures along with creations of local artisans.
The objective is to give fluidity to the passage of people during these first editions of the weekly meeting with the local product in order to support commercial activity while maintaining current prevention measures. Therefore, it increases the surface of the market in order to increase the separation between the stalls and maintain the necessary distances. In addition, cleaning is reinforced with one more operator who will take care of ensuring the correct hygiene of the entire space.
With this resumption, it has been chosen not to do any of the usual activities parallel to the market at the moment to avoid an excessive concentration of people, who may transit between the positions but everything will have to be done so that they do not accumulate in the same point.
Musical performances, workshops and exhibitions are left for later, in a market that starts now but will continue to be offered every Saturday until the end of October. The idea is also to make the general public aware of the need to incorporate the local product into their shopping cart to move towards more responsible and sustainable consumption.
