The festival Nits Amples d’Estiu, organised by the municipality of Sant Antoni, will continue to bring us outdoor music and film screenings throughout August and September. And do you know what the best part is? It’s all free!
On Sundays throughout August, Sant Antoni will be extremely lively, with activities on offer for all tastes and ages. On August 4, pop-rock band Alamar will perform in the Plaza Nord (behind the church). On Sunday, August 11, the film “Bohemian Rhapsody” will be screened in its original version at 21:30.
On August 18, from 19:00 until midnight, Nits Amples d’Estiu will celebrate a very special evening: the Festa de la Terra (earth day party), that will include workshops, painting, markets, folk dancing, live music and even a sardine bbq. This will all take place along Passeig de ses Fonts. And lastly, on Sunday, August 25 at 21:30, the musical “A Star is Born” will be screened in the Plaza Nord in its original version.
Nits Amples d’Estiu will continue with three new live music events in September. Specifically, on September 1, there will be a performance by the Sant Antoni Music Band; on September 8, the Afro-Latin music group Konga will perform and on Sunday, September 15, the band Solpost will be responsible for closing the Nits Amples d’Estiu 2019, with their live performance.
Nits Amples d’Estiu kicked off in July with indie rock band Hostal Pascual. It then continued with the celebration the Virgin of Carmen day, which saw offerings of seafood, folk dancing and the screening of the documentary ‘Moonface, a woman in war‘.
