Amateur Theater Festival
The novelty of November is the Amateur Theater Festival, which offers the stage of the Can Jeroni Culture Center to Ibizan groups two next weekends in November.

NOVEMBER 8 AT 7:30 PM
‘Ana de las Tejas Verdes’ by Musicaldansa.
SYNOPSIS: Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, two middle-aged single brothers, decide to adopt an orphan boy to help them on the Green Gables farm. The problems begin when, due to a series of misunderstandings, the one who ends up in Green Gables is a precocious and intelligent 11-year-old girl named Ana Shirley, who is so eager to please them that in her eagerness she continues to riot and create misunderstandings. Ana is a girl with a very fertile imagination, which, in the end, will fill with joy the lives of the two brothers as well as the rest of the inhabitants of Avonlea.

‘Carnival’ by the Pedro Cañestro Theater Company.
SYNOPSIS: ‘Carnaval’ is a police thriller, a work of intrigue in real-time, in which the viewer will be challenged with challenges to intelligence and to their own sensitivity, making them feel that any nonsense like this could have been committed by anyone. At a police station, four officers try to solve the disappearance of a child. There is no logical explanation, only the presence of evil, an unknown and sadistic evil that shakes everyone’s life.

‘Es festeig de can Panxo’ by the Grup de Teatre de l’Associació de Vesins des Molí de Sant Antoni de Portmany.
SYNOPSIS: Work dedicated to the popular traditions of our island and our ancestors. Set in the 1930s, it tells the story of young lovers.
NOVEMBER 15 AT 12:30 (FOR CHILDREN)
‘Dreaming of Pinocchio’ by the La Tartana Company.
SYNOPSIS: The story of how Pinocchio was created. Gepetto is a fireman on an old steamboat. Hard and lonely work with the only company of logs and fire. Gepetto and his cricket friend will live the adventure of finding a companion inside a simple wooden log.
Based on the regulations that, due to COVID-19, regulate the realization of cultural activities in closed spaces and outdoors, the appropriate rules of attendance control and safety and hygiene in force on the date of the activity will be applied. According to the BOIB No. 187, of October 29, 2020, regarding the freedom of movement of people at night, all movements and circulation on public roads are prohibited from 22:00 to 06:00. Displacement to the habitual residence is excluded from this prohibition when leaving a cultural act.
