Back to School – Sant Jordi Music Festival
The Sant Josep de sa Talaia City Council and the Ses Barsetes Cultural Association organize the eighth edition of the Back to School Festival, a classic on the calendar of musical events of the year in Sant Jordi that no one involved wanted to stop celebrating despite the pandemic. The music will begin to play this Saturday at 8:00 p.m., as always in the town square.
On this occasion, three local groups will assume the responsibility of encouraging the return to classes and work after the summer. These are veteran musicians of the island, although some of them are found in bands that have just been created, so, like every year, quality is assured.
Little Jackie Papel will open the evening before the energetic #FORTHEFRESHLYPEOPLE of this year’s headliners, the Guajiro Blues.
As the capacity of the square is limited, the Back to School Festival can only be accessed by invitation to the enclosed area with fences where the concert will take place. These invitations can be requested by email from Ses Barsetes, firstname.lastname@example.org. With each of them, two people can access, who can sit together in the space set up by the BTS, keeping their distance from the rest of the audience. Through social networks, the organizers will inform about any incident related to the festival and the progress of the distribution of invitations.
To avoid any agglomeration of people, the entire venue set up for the concert will be delimited with raised fences that will make it impossible to follow the performances from the street. This is to discourage anyone who does not have an invitation to attend from going to the plaza.
