
Chamber Music Festival
The Cultural Center of Jesus will be the setting this October for the second edition of the Santa Eulària des Riu Chamber Music Festival, a biannual meeting coordinated by the renowned Ibizan pianist Elvira Ramon. This second festival maintains the level of demand and quality of its premiere and will bring together some of the most talented performers on the national scene under the same three-concert format.
The double bass and piano duo formed by Rubén Fornell and Elvira Ramon will open the second Music Festival of Cambra de Santa Eulària des Riu with ‘El romanticisme i les seves expressions’ this Saturday, October 10; It will be followed by the transverse flute and harpsichord duo of the Ibizan Rafael Adobas Bayog and the Japanese Ilhae Kim, on October 17, and the festival will be closed by the trio Zart Ensemble, with Roland Cardona Segura (clarinet), Paula Martos Isidoro (cello) and Llorenç Prats Boscà (piano).
The first edition of the Chamber Music Festival brought together musicians of the stature of the pianists Alba Ventura and Alejandro Picó-Leonis, the soprano Ana Puchi and the Iboshim Trio. For this second edition, the concerts have been scheduled on Saturdays 10, 17 and 31 October at 8:00 pm.
Tickets to the Chamber Music Festival are on sale on the institutional website www.visitsantaeulalia.com. The price is 10 euros plus management fees on digital platforms and 12 euros at the box office (one hour before the concert). It should be noted that there will be a 50% discount for those under 11 years of age and for adults over 65 years of age. The capacity has been reduced to comply with the restrictions established by current health regulations to stop the advance of the Covid-19 pandemic.
