Drive-in cinema: Cinema in Sa Coma

The Consell Insular d’Eivissa has carried out a calendar of activities for children and families that include a drive-in cinema, storytelling, magic shows and documentary screenings. All activities are free with prior reservation and confirmation.

JUNE 19 AT 10 PM
KNIVES OUT (UNITED STATES – 2019) BY RIAN JOHNSON
Synopsis. When renowned mystery novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead in his mansion, just after the family’s 85th birthday celebration, the inquisitive and courteous detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously recruited to investigate the matter. He will move between a network of false leads and lies to try to discover the truth after the writer’s death.

Synopsis. Year 1981. In Gotham City, mentally-troubled Arthur Fleck works as a clown-for-hire and lives with his mother, Penny. Arthur, whose motivation in life is to make people laugh, wants to be a stand-up comedian, but he is ignored by society, and a series of tragic events will take him to see the world in a different way, full of anger and rage against everyone and everything.

TAG (UNITED STATES – 2018) BY JEFF TOMSIC
Synopsis. One month a year, five very competitive friends launch into a game of “Tag” where anything goes, and which they have played since the first year of school. In which they risk their lives, their jobs and their romantic relationships to defeat the other in battle. Based on a true story.

The drive-in cinema will be held at the Sa Coma campus with a maximum of 80 vehicles free of charge after requesting entry by email to dep.cultura@conselldeivissa.es. You must have the reservation printed or on a mobile device and follow the security instructions of the organizing staff. There will be toilets but not any type of sale, payment or monetary exchange.
