Family visits at the MACE and Puget Museum
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Eivissa (MACE) offers free family visits from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. This initiative, through the museum’s didactic program for families, “MACE in family”, is part of the ‘Therapeutic Museum’ initiative.
The Therapeutic Museum initiative was launched from the MACE after the confinement that took place in 2020. As a museum of contemporary art, which serves a relatively recent historical framework and an immediate present, it wants to be part of the process of social development at the moment to live. Hence, the museum has promoted the Therapeutic Museum with the certainty that art and museums are curative and palliative.
Given the current situation in which social gatherings have been limited, the MACE offers these family visits as an outlet to the outside world and contact with contemporary art. The Museum complies with all security measures and will host a family group every hour, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To make the visit, an appointment must be made through email@example.com or by calling 971 30 27 23.
