The Cultural Department of the Santa Eulalia del Río City Council has started the ‘Cultura a Casa’ campaign to offer participatory initiatives around culture for this time of lockdown, as well as accessible online resources to enjoy reading, movies or performing arts. ‘Cultura a Casa’ is accessible through the web www.festivalbarruguet.com and includes drawing, storytelling or photography contests, as well as stories and ‘poetic gifts’ for everyone.
In the first line of action there is a selection of stories, in video and audio format, chosen, spoken and/or represented by some of the island stories that were going to participate in the spring edition of the storytelling of the Municipal Library (Encarna de las Heras, David Novell, Monma Mingot …). Here you can enjoy both stories for children and others aimed at the adult audience.
Likewise, as content generated for this page, you can find small “capsules” of poetry. It is a selection of poems by Marià Villangómez recited by the students of the Catalan courses that the City Council continues to teach, now in an online format.
On the other hand, ‘Cultura a Casa’ also has a directory part where some of the resources available online will be compiled, and free of charge, to enjoy reading, cinema or the performing arts.
