The patron saint festivities of Sant Antoni this year include an unpublished exhibition on the British rock band The Rolling Stones, which can be visited from January 16 to February 15 at the Far de ses Coves Blanques.
The collection belongs to Alberto Sánchez-Runde, from Barcelona, based in Ibiza, who has collected hundreds of pieces of this mythical group throughout his life, which will be released for the first time. In the exhibition, he will exhibit around 200 pieces, a part of his extensive collection, among which will be some of the great value such as a Ron Wood guitar, as well as gold and platinum records and unique memorabilia.
The inauguration is scheduled for January 16 at 8 pm. Previously, the Cervantes Cultural Center will host, starting at 6 pm, a talk by journalists Mariskal Romero, currently director of the magazine “La Heavy” and the internet portal Mariskalrock.com, and Mariano Muniesa, writer of eight books about The Rolling Stones.
Visiting hours: Tuesday – Saturday from 5 pm to 8 pm
Address: Far de ses Coves Blanques – Carrer d’Alemanya, 1, 07820 Sant Antoni de Portmany
