Entrepreneurial Women Workshops

Next October 5 and 7 they will have some ‘Entrepreneurial Women Workshops’, training talks that will address different aspects of self-employment from a gender perspective. These workshops are an initiative of the Feina Club of the Santa Eulària des Riu City Council and have the collaboration of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Women’s Institute of the Ministry of Equality.

One of the appointments will focus on empowerment and self-employment while the other will focus on aspects of digital training for women. The two workshops that make up this cycle are free and have limited face-to-face places, although they can also be followed through the YouTube channel of the Santa Eulària des Riu City Council. Although it is aimed especially at women, participation in the workshops is open to all interested people, both from the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu and from the rest of the island. Registration to attend can be done through www.ingenion.net until the same day of each of the talks.

The first of the two appointments will take place on Tuesday, October 5, at the Cultural Center of Jesus from 5:00 p.m. and will have a capacity of 40 attendees, always following the necessary sanitary measures. Under the title ‘Empowerment of women for the promotion of self-employment, the writer and communicator Sol Aguirre will talk about “self-esteem, how to make decisions, what to do with the opinions of others and to draw up a plan that will take us from where we are where we want to be “all to end the ignorance and fear of starting a business and that they assume that” since we can only choose what we know, we do not contemplate the possibility of creating our own company “.

The second workshop will take place on Thursday, October 7, starting at 5:00 p.m. In this case, it will be held at the Municipal School of Training (C/Sainz de la Cuesta, on the ground floor of the Sports Pavilion) since each attendee must have a computer to follow the talk. In total, 12 people will be able to attend in person the presentation “Digital training for women entrepreneurs”, which will be given by Berta Lartuna, an expert in marketing and digital transformation and current director of business development at Diario de Ibiza.
